for Queensland's sake
Have you 'had a gutful' of the political parties allocation of their preferences in order to manoeuvre the electors into casting their preference votes for an otherwise reprehensible party, as part of a political deal.
In the Queensland State Election it is an optional choice to allocate preferences, however in the Federal Election it is COMPULSORY to allocate preferences or your vote will be informal.
For Queensland's sake, don't play Russian Roulette with your vote; carefully consider the options;
- The Coalition Parties: The conservatives are wandering aimlessly down the path of the Economic Rationalist Agenda, coupled with
Globalisation, the National Competition Policy, Privatisation, the sale of Public Utilities, (e.g. Telstra, Qantas, Commonwealth Bank, etc.) and are preparing to sign the General Agreement on Trade in Services which WILL have a devastating effect on Australian Small Business and Rural Australia.
- The Labor Party: The proponents of the 1974 Lima Agreement, the 1993
Native Title Act, the 1995 Hilmer Report (now the National Competition Policy), and who are directly responsible for MABO, WIK
and associated indigenous
land
and sea claims.
- The Minor Parties: Supported by every far left to right extremist group with their own political agenda's.
Political parties without substance or creditability, without policies of significance and whose only claim to fame is to voice the obvious problems faced by all democratic western countries.
